Calling all dreamers: share your visions of a better future.

Today’s turmoil has us looking to the future. Climate change, social unrest, economic disparity, shrinking natural resources, political disorder: the challenges are daunting.  But the crises of today and the disasters of tomorrow are also an opportunity for radical thinking and collective action.

Faced with change, our ability to reflect, to worry, and to grieve allow us to ask the question: how do we proceed from here?  A collective feeling across the world is emerging. The scope of climate change is vast, but its all-encompassing reach creates a global shared experience whose power can fuel shared action at any scale.

Let us cultivate resilience that is adaptive, inclusive, and brave; that can heal, protect, empower, break the cycle, and that might just be far out enough to work.

For Ground Up’s 9th issue, we ask you to speculate, imagine, decide – to pick a path Onward.
